HIGHWORTH & SWINDON WALKING CLUB

Programme of Wednesday Walks for Jan - April 2020

Newcomers are welcome to walk with us for a maximum of three times before becoming members.  Unless stated otherwise, bring a packed lunch and enough to drink. Good footwear and suitable clothing for inclement weather are strongly recommended. Sorry, these walks are not suitable for any dogs, as there can be high solid stone stiles, stepping stones across streams, encounters with livestock, etc. If you plan to drive straight to the start point of the walk, please let the leader know in advance. For the short walks on alternate Wednesdays, there is usually optional pub stop at the end of each walk for lunch and/or drink (accordingly, a packed lunch may not be needed).

Also you may wish to a mid-morning light snack & drink on short walks.  For further information, please contact: Regular Walks: Dave Hazell Tel: 01793 765390.  Short Walks: Sheila Fletcher Tel: 01793 764737                     Web: http://highworthandswindonwalking club.btck.co.uk; Facebook: Highworth and Swindon Walking Club

WEDNESDAY WALKS: Meet at the Recreation Centre Car Park, The Elms, Highworth, departing promptly at times stated below (i.e. short walks usually 10:00 am and regular walks usually at 09:30 am). Check programme carefully.

Grading:  Very easy (flat); Easy (gentle slopes); Moderate (including some hills); Hard (hard climbs/hills)
